Welcome to the uFish Ireland website, where you can find all the details you need to go angling in the Foyle and Carlingford catchments.
Season: 1st April - 20th October
The Glenmornan River is between 5-10 metres wide, and currently does not require a fishing permit. The landowner's permission must be obtained before crossing their land to access the river.
The main feature within the river is an impassable waterfall, located between Ballymagorry and Artigarvan at Lower Milltown. This has led to vast differences in the river below and above the waterfall, as Atlantic salmon and sea trout travel up the river as far as the waterfall, but above it there is only a population of indigenous brown trout.
